As an ASP/SaaS provider, GTreasury is the second largest user of its own software, General Electric being the largest. General Electric operates its own ASP service for over 8,000 of its legal entities around the world. Our systems and databases for On-Site Installations and for Web-based ASP/SaaS services are exactly the same. That is not the case with all other leading vendors.

In fact, we compete with different vendors depending on whether the prospect wants an On-Site or an ASP/SaaS solution. Two of the leading vendors no longer provide an on-site solution. Two other leading vendors do not have a fully functional ASP/SaaS solution that is not fully supported or developed as a service.

The GTreasury approach is an advantage for two reasons:

1. Clients can always decide to move from one approach to the other without re-installing a completely different system.
2. All GTreasury R&D and new product development is focused on one single system for the benefit of all. The latter is also an advantage vis-à-vis the one leading vendor that still tries to support at least five different systems inherited through acquisitions. As our partner, General Electric funds a substantial amount of on-going enhancements and new modules every year and provides us with an ideal environment to test our high volume capacity and performance.
