Q: What do you believe are your key strengths?‍

Transparency, adaptability, and multitasking.

Q: How do you keep track of the things you need to do?

Using Todoist! It’s a fantastic tool for organising tasks by project, deadline, or client. It also helps me distinguish between what’s important and what’s merely urgent. Highly recommended (and no, I’m not getting a commission!)

Q: What makes you happy in a job?

Facing challenges that seem overwhelming at first, but are eventually overcome with creativity and hard work. Even better when that effort makes life easier for clients or colleagues.

Q: Why do you feel you have work/life balance? Do you have any tips/tricks for others to improve their work/life balance?

Age quod agis (“Do what you are doing”). Remote work can blur boundaries, so having distinct physical spaces for work and personal life is key for me to maintain focus. Time is scarce, but focus is even more crucial.

Q: Think about a good manager you’ve had. What did they do that made them a good manager?

Reliability, emotional intelligence to know when to push and when to ease off, and a deep sense of trust.

Q: What do you like about the work environment or culture here?

It is outstanding. Everyone tries to help each other whenever they can. There is an environment of trust – one that offers maximum freedom but also demands maximum responsibility.

Q: Who are some of your biggest inspirations at GTreasury?

• Mike Cirullo – manages to make complex problems look easy, and always has the team’s back
• Teala Clay– savvy in the system, and very precise in the wording for explaining it
• Augie – has a global and strategic view of GTreasury, combined with a great sense of humour
• Robin Heller – very approachable and great at giving both advice and motivation

Q: How have you grown professionally at GTreasury?

From significantly increasing my client-facing responsibilities since I started,  to training new hires internally, GT is full of growth opportunities. This is a result of the remarkable growth we are experiencing as a company.

Q: What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

Focus on the long term. Join a place that is growing so that you can grow with it. And don’t take a great culture for granted.

Q: What’s something you are passionate about outside of the workplace?

Classical music, history, and philosophy. And I cannot go for more than two days without playing my piano!
